The AZ-900 (Azure Fundamentals) program is the entry point of the Azure certification path, with no prerequisites. It covers cloud concepts (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, public/private/hybrid, benefits and the shared responsibility model), Azure architecture and services (Regions, availability zones, compute, networking, storage, databases), and Azure management and governance (identity with Microsoft Entra ID, RBAC, policy, cost management and the Trust Center).
The course pairs concepts with real portal work: you explore virtual machines, storage accounts, virtual networks and Azure SQL, examine Entra ID and role-based access control, and use the pricing calculator and Cost Management — preparing you for the AZ-900 exam and the associate certifications that follow.
