Basic Python helps for the app-building modules, but the concepts and prompting are accessible to all. Any Python needed is taught as we go.
A laptop; we use Python and popular LLM APIs and free tools. Some AI APIs have usage costs, which we explain and keep minimal for learning.
To receive the Edmire Generative AI Certificate, complete all 5 modules and the capstone — a working generative-AI application. Resubmission is free if needed.
Prompt Engineering focuses on writing effective prompts. This course is broader — how LLMs work and how to build real applications with them, including RAG. They complement each other well.
