You'll configure remote access, set up shared storage and user accounts, manage team devices with configuration profiles, and build a backup system you can trust — all hands-on, using the tools built into macOS.

For classroom training, Mac hardware is provided at our training centre. For live online training, you'll need any Mac — ideally with a second Mac, iPhone or iPad to practise device management, but we provide demo environments if you don't have one.
To receive the Edmire Mac Server Essentials Certificate, you must complete all 5 modules and pass the hands-on final assessment — a set of practical tasks (configuring a file share, creating user accounts, verifying a backup) performed on real Mac hardware. Students who do not pass on the first attempt can retake the assessment free of charge.
You can take this course as classroom training at our Dubai centre, as live online classes with an instructor, or as custom on-demand training for groups and companies. All course materials remain yours to keep, so you can revisit any topic after the course ends.
