To receive the Edmire Kali Linux Essentials Certificate, you must complete all 5 modules and pass the hands-on final assessment — a set of practical terminal tasks (navigating, managing files and permissions, installing packages) performed in a real Kali environment. Students who do not pass on the first attempt can retake the assessment free of charge.
