For classroom training, PCs are provided at our training centre — just bring yourself. For live online training, you'll need any computer running Windows 10 or 11. If you're buying a laptop for the course, our trainers are happy to advise you on what to get before you spend.
To receive the Edmire Windows Essentials Certificate, you must complete all 5 modules and pass the hands-on final assessment — a set of practical, real-world tasks (organising files, changing settings, securing an account) performed on an actual PC. Students who do not pass on the first attempt can retake the assessment free of charge.
